anas, la relación que tiene nuestra piel con la suciedad y gérmenes contenidos en otras superficies es inevitable.
Muchas personas le dan poca importancia a este hecho, y mantienen mínimos hábitos de limpieza y cuidado, por lo que se exponen a ser más vulnerables de contraer alguna enfermedad o infección.
De acuerdo con el sitio askmen.com, científicos encontraron que las pistolas despachadoras de combustible son el objeto más sucio y contaminado que puede ser tocado en la vida cotidiana.
Basados en información de los sitios menshealth.es,odontoespacio.com y 20minutos.es, aquí una lista de los 10 objetos más sucios que se usan a diario, además te decimos algunos consejos para evitar las consecuencias de tener contacto con ellos.
1. La cama
Aunque muchas personas saben de la existencia de los ácaros, no todas toman los cuidados necesarios para evitar convivir con ellos. Los ácaros son pequeños arácnidos que viven entre las sábanas de una cama, alimentándose de la piel muerta que diariamente perdemos y dejamos en la cama al dormir. Lo que causa más daño de estos insectos no son ellos en sí, sino sus desechos fecales, los cuales pueden provocar asma y distintos tipos de reacciones alérgicas.
Irónicamente, una de las mejores formas de no dejar que estos insectos subsistan en la cama, es no tenderla, pues necesitan de niveles altos de humedad para reproducirse, y el ambiente árido y ventilado de una cama sin tender, no es el más propicio para que logren ese cometido. Así que si se desea eliminarlos por completo, basta con dejar circular bien el aire por toda la casa.
2. Control remoto
Sin duda es uno de los objetos más sucios que usamos diariamente, pues lo tocamos después de llegar de la calle, mientras estamos comiendo palomitas y después de acariciar al perro, sólo por mencionar algunos ejemplos; esto sin contar que no somos los únicos que utilizamos el control y que nuestras manos producen más de 250 mil bacterias distintas.
Lo ideal para no ser afectados por la contaminación del control remoto es limpiarlo frecuentemente con algún paño húmedo y desinfectante. No utilices ningún líquido directamente sobre el aparato, ya que puede descomponerlo. Asegúrate que el limpiador que uses no sea abrasivo.
Algunas personas prefieren cubrir los controles con fundas de plástico que sean más fácil de lavar, pero lo que es infalible, es lavarse bien las manos antes y después de usarlo.
3. Cajeros automáticos
Sólo hay que pensar en todas las personas que tienen contacto con un cajero automático, el trato con el dinero, las tarjetas, la tinta y cualquier contaminante que haya en el ambiente, para percatarnos que al hacer cualquier operación bancaria, en dichas máquinas, es una fuerte exposición a la contaminación.
En este caso, el control de la limpieza del cajero no está en tus manos, por lo que el único consejo que te damos es lavar tus manos después de usarlo o desinfectarlas con algún gel antibacterial.
4. El teclado de la computadora
El teclado de una computadora acumula por horas, días, meses e incluso años, gran cantidad de suciedad, incluso en algunos casos restos de comida, por lo que lo convierten en un nido de bacterias.
La solución es sencilla, no usar la computadora con las manos sucias y mantener el hábito de limpiar el teclado y el mouse con frecuencia.
5. Dispensadores de condimentos
Cuando uno asiste a un restaurante y hace uso de los condimentos y salsas que se sirven en la mesa, tiene contacto directo con los gérmenes de otras personas, pues aunque tú tengas el hábito de lavarte las manos antes de usarlos, no se sabe si la persona que lo usó antes lo tenga. Esto sin mencionar que son raros los restaurantes que acostumbran lavar con frecuencia sus dispensadores.
Lo que se puede hacer en este caso es lavarse las manos después de servirse o limpiar la botella antes de agarrarla. De poco sirve usar una servilleta para sostenerla, pues debido a que son de un material poroso, los microorganismos pueden pasar a través de ellas.
6. El menú de restaurante
Probablemente nunca has visto que en un restaurante laven la carta del menú, quizá cuando mucho, has observado que le pasen ligeramente un trapo para quitar alguna mancha de comida de los comensales anteriores.
Los virus de la gripe pueden vivir hasta por 18 horas en superficies duras, por lo que el menú de un restaurante puede ser un criadero de gérmenes que pasan directamente a tus manos antes de que empieces a comer.
Por ello lo recomendable es lavarse las manos después de haber ordenado y, en dado caso, evitar que la carta tenga contacto con los platos y cubiertos.
7. Celular
Según el sitio laflecha.net, un estudio aplicado a teléfonos celulares apuntó que, incluso una suela de zapato posee menos bacterias, por lo que si dicho dispositivo no se mantiene limpio, puede convertirse en fuente de enfermedades, aún más que un excusado.
El hecho de tenerlo guardado en bolsos y de que tenga contacto con las manos, cara y oídos, lo hace uno de los objetos más contaminados, pues todas estas zonas son muy propensas a tener bacterias.
8. Carrito de supermercado
Un estudio dio a conocer la suciedad a la que las personas, que realizan sus compras en un supermercado, están expuestas, pues casi dos tercios de las asas de carritos de compras sometidos a una prueba, resultaron estar contaminadas con bacterias fecales, incluso mayores a la media existentes en los baños públicos.
Las recomendaciones son limpiar el área del carrito que vaya a tener contacto con las manos antes de agarrarlo, y en caso de tener hijos, hacer lo mismo con el asiento y cualquier otra zona que el niño pueda establecer contacto.
Otro consejo importante, es rechazar las muestras de comida que se dan normalmente en este tipo de tiendas para promocionar algún alimento, pues ésta es la forma más común de que pasen los gérmenes de la mano a la boca.
9. La ducha
Aunque es un lugar en constante contacto con agua y jabón, la humedad y la temperatura de un baño favorecen a la proliferación de bacterias, sobre todo en las zonas que estén hechas de algún plástico, como puede ser la cortina de la regadera.
Una forma de evitar la convivencia con los gérmenes es cambiar la cortina de vinil por una de tela, ya que ésta puede ser lavada con mayor facilidad. Bastaría con lavarla una vez al mes, pues este tipo de bacterias no son muy resistentes, pero si el sistema inmune de algún miembro de la casa se encuentra debilitado, se recomienda lavarla con mayor frecuencia.
10. Rodaja de limón
Es común que al solicitar alguna bebida en un bar o restaurante, ésta se adorne con alguna fruta o rodaja de limón para hacerla más atractiva, pero lo que podría ser un buen detalle en el arte culinario, es en realidad un foco de infección.
Pruebas hechas a rodajas de limón que se colocan en los vasos de restaurantes, arrojaron que cerca del 70 por ciento de ellas contenían bacterias patógenas. Según los resultados, los limones contenían hasta 25 microorganismos, entre los cuales se encontró el e.coli y otras bacterias fecales.
Así que si quieres evitar tener contacto con este tipo de bacterias, recuerda decir al mesero que prefieres que tu bebida no esté decorada con dicho cítrico.
