Cuentan que un padre de familia fue a un parque de diversiones con sus dos hijos, uno de tres años de edad y otro de 6 años. La entrada valía cinco dólares para niños menores de 5 años y diez para los mayores de 5 años.
Cuando se acercó a la entrada, el boletero le preguntó la edad de los niños.
El hombre respondió “Tres y seis años”.
El boletero le replicó: Usted es un tonto?. Me ha podido decir que tiene tres y cinco años y pagar sólo la tarifa de cinco dólares. Ahora que me dijo la verdadera edad de sus hijos, tendré que cobrarle más. ..y no recibira su descuento. Acaso alguien se habría dado cuenta ?.
El padre le respondió: “Sí, mis hijos”.
